Keep Off The Grass (1969)
Production Company: Sid Davis Productions

Tom gets in trouble when his mother finds a joint in his room. Instead of punishing Tom, his father challenges him to learn more about marijuana’s evil effects on society. Nobody gets killed in this Sid Davis film, yet Tom still learns a harsh lesson after being mugged by druggies and learning that his best friend sells pot to school children. Some interesting shots of city streets and epoca automobiles.
The definitive anti-grass film! Young Tom (who's so brilliant he wears white while working on his car's engine) has a talk with his Dad, after Mom accidentally discovers his stash. While lighting up a cigarette, Dad tells Tom of the dangers of pot smoking. Tom decides to go out into the world and find out the truth. He attends a pot party, visits a head shop, meets with a hippie artist, witnesses a pot bust, talks with a friendly police officer, and finally decides to "Keep Off the Grass". Through the narration, we learn that it's OK for the older generation to have a drink to relax, because they've spent all day accomplishing something, whereas these kids are just "blowing" pot to escape from reality...
